What Anglicans have in our Book of Common Prayer is a structure; it is a tool for us to use to reach greater intimacy with God and greater peace of mind. We have structured prayers for morning and for evening, and together we refer to them as the Daily Office.
What this series is meant to explore is how we managed to get this resource as a unique treasure handed on to us from our Anglican heritage and how to access it, how to pray the Daily Office ourselves either in the church or at home, alone, or with family.
